Worked with Kogen Friedman on a new construction, and all I can say is that they really know how to build a home. Every time we've had a tech or service come in to set up something in the house, they comment on how thoughtful the layout and the design allowed for easy access and maintenance to everything. Even after the first year has passed, Suzy and Manuel have been highly responsive and helpful with any questions we have had. My favorite things were the layout and the quality of construction which are the most important things in my opinion when it comes to deciding where to raise a family.

If I were wanting to build a new house, I am not because I am old and love my little home, I certainly would want your company to build it. I am so impressed with how the new house next to me is being constructed. Your builders are amazing. There seems to be incredible attention to detail, including the way the Tyvek allowances are included with each additional outside wall so that they will cover the adjoining seams. I don't know a lot about new construction, but I think that I would know if things weren't being done correctly. (My husband and I did a lot of reconstruction on our little house.) As I look at the difference in your project and the one down the street south of me, I am amazed. I am grateful that the house next to me is in such good hands!

Rented with Suzy for 2 years in Northbrook. By far the kindest and most positive experience I've had with a landlord. Suzy and her team were always polite, helpful, and professional. When we moved out and hit several delays, they were flexible and remained kind even though they knew they wouldn't have our business much longer, and that tells me a lot about their character.

My wife and I purchased a new construction home in March 2025 from Kogen Friedman Development. We have been extremely impressed with the quality of the home as well as the service from the developer. During the independent inspection, the inspector was impressed with the build quality and mentioned it was one of the best new construction homes they had seen recently. Since the purchase, the developer has been incredibly prompt in addressing any issues that have arisen. For example, when the sump pump motor seized, the team had a plumber on-site with a replacement pump by the end of the day. Similarly, when a closet drawer was slightly misaligned, they immediately dispatched installers to make the adjustment. No matter how minor the issue, the team has done an amazing job ensuring it's resolved quickly. Our overall experience has been truly exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend or work with Kogen Friedman Development again.
